Millennia Designs - Sutton Hoo Needlepoint Kit

This design is based on a 7th Century AD ornamental shoulder clasp from the Anglo-Saxon cemetary at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk, England. The clasp was one of a pair which came from an extremely rich ship buriel. It is thought that the grave belonged to the east Anglican King Raewald, who died in AD 624/5.

The design is worked in tent or half cross stitch on a 10 count colour printed canvas. Kit also includes full instructions, needle and Anchor tapestry wool.
