Customer Accounts What is a customer account?
A customer account enables you to log in each time you shop online. Any items added to your cart will automatically be remembered from your last visit in addition to your invoice and delivery details. This will save you re-typing in all your details during each transaction.
Your credit card details are not stored in your account details. All payment details and credit card numbers are processed by Netbanx on our behalf and are neither seen or stored by Albany Hill.
As a registered account holder you can benefit from special promotions and savings not available to non-account holders. Customer accounts enable us to reward your loyalty by way of personalised offers on your favourite products. You can also opt to receive regular updates on new product launches and advance sales notices.
How do I register?
When you make your first online purchase from the new Albany Hill site we will send you a user name and password so that you can begin using your customer account. You will receive this within five working days of your order date.
You must keep this username and password confidential and must not let anyone else use it. If you think anyone else has your password, please let us know so that we can change it. You are responsible for all activities and orders that are submitted using your password.
You can cancel your customer account at any time by emailing us.
Will registering for an account mean endless emails?
Absolutely not! We would be more than happy to send you regular updates on new product launches and special offers but only if you are happy to receive them! When we send you your user name and password we will also ask if you wish to receive regular email updates. If you don't reply, or reply stating that you do not wish to receive such emails we won't bother you again.
How do I start shopping with my account?
Each time you visit the Albany Hill site, simply log on by clicking on "my account" and entering your user name and password.
Your name will appear near the top of the screen showing that you are "logged on".
If you have been offered any promotional prices or special offers the amended price will automatically be displayed once you are logged on.
Can I shop at Albany Hill without a customer account?
Yes. You will only be supplied with an account after you make your first online purchase. If for any reason you do not wish to make use of your customer account you can still browse the Albany hill website and continue to make purchases. Your account will only be activated if you log on.
Important points to remember
You are responsible for ensuring that all details provided by you during any online transactions are correct and complete. Should any of your account details change, ie you change email address or move home address, please contact us immediately so that we can make the necessary amendments to your customer account.
Before leaving the Albany Hill site remember to log off by clicking on the "log off" link near the top of the screen. This is especially important if you are using a shared computer. |
