The inspiration for this design comes from the "Odes" of the Latin poet Horace. the full quote is "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero." "Sieze the day, trusting little in tomorrow." From Roman times to the present day it has served as a reminder to live your life to the full.

The design is worked in tent or half cross stitch on a 12 count colour printed canvas. Kit also includes full instructions, needle and Appletons tapestry wool. Available in a choice of 4 background colours.
